En FEMSA reconocemos que la información social y medioambiental se está convirtiendo en un elemento significativo en el proceso de toma de decisiones de los grupos de interés. Hoy en día se solicita a las compañías ser más transparentes sobre su impacto, desempeño y objetivos en materia de sostenibilidad, Por lo tanto, debemos de proporcionar confianza en la calidad de la información en relación con la gestión del desempeño ambiental, social y de gobierno corporativo.
Por esto, el proceso de revisión, evaluación y de verificación limitada independiente de la información de sostenibilidad publicada en nuestro Informe Anual y en el Informe de Indicadores Grobal Reporting Initiative G4 es llevado a cabo por parte de un despacho externo.
